Previous 10 of 25 Next click on image to enlarge On little Cherry Island in Beckwith Creek off the Little Choptank River stands a charming red lighthouse. While we were at anchor there, one of those deep, dark summer thunderstorms rolled in over the low northern hills. Soon we were plunged into darkness and rain. Then as the rain lifted, a new 'mountain range' of beautiful white clouds appeared. Capturing this in paint was both a challenge and a delight.
